The Miss Southeast Texas Scholarship Pageant is coming back for 2011-2012 pageant year!!!
The pageant will be on December 17, 2011, at Kingwood Park High School.

The
Miss Southeast Texas Scholarship Pageant is an official local preliminary
pageant to the Miss Texas and the
Miss America Scholarship Pageant.
The pageant was held on December 17, 2011, at Kingwood Park High School.
The title of Miss Southeast Texas' Outstanding Teen 2012 and Miss Southeast Texas 2012 will be awarded. Two panels of 7 judges scored both Teen and Miss contestants in 5 different categories. The Miss contestants will be competing in private interview (25%), talent (35%), lifestyle and fitness in swimsuit (15%), evening wear (20%), and onstage questioning (5%). The Teen contestants will be competing in private interview (35%), lifestyle and fitness in aerobic wear (10%), talent (35%), and evening wear/on-stage questioning (20%). The highest and lowest scores for each contestant in the separate categories will be dropped. The young ladies in both divisions with the highest overall score became the new title holders.
Miss Southeast Texas 2012 will receive over $5000.00 in cash scholarship, awards, and gifts. She also has the opportunity of competing at the Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant in July 2012 in Arlington, Texas.
Miss Southeast Texas' Outstanding Teen 2012 will be awarded over $2000.00 in cash scholarship, awards, and gifts. She, too, will compete at the Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen Pageant in July 2012 in Arlington, Texas.
The Miss Contestant Category will be eligible to compete with a donation of $100.00 to the Children's Miracle Network and the Teen Contestant Category is ONLY $100.00 entry fee.
This year will definitely be a wonderful experience and a rewarding year!!
